COVID-19 has made many things more challenging, including providing in-person training. As a part of the Federation’s professional development program and our commitment to ensuring our state’s shelter employees are certified and qualified to perform euthanasia by injection, we are shifting our usual Euthanasia By Injection training offering to a two part process for certification.
Part one will include the virtual classroom experience, including lecture, videos, and an online exam. After passing the online portion, each student will be required to demonstrated practical application under the observation of a certified EBI practitioner and submit an affidavit of completion to receive their certificate. The practicum portion must be completed within three months of the virtual lecture, and students will receive a certificate of completion once the practicum is signed off by the WAFED trainer.
Registration is $100 per participant for member organizations (you must be logged in as a user to get this pricing!) and $125 per participant for non-member organizations. Link to the training will be e-mailed at least a week before the training is to take place.
Space is limited.
