The Washington Federation of Animal Care & Control Agencies conducts an annual survey of animals handled by animal shelters and other placement groups. This is a simple survey whose responses allow organizations to determine trends in their geographic location, by species and by services. We are the only organization in the state to collect this data, and the final report is provided free of charge to Federation Member agencies.
